SKT BEAT TEMPLATE for Shopify

Beatstars is increasingly imposing fees on Europeans: between mandatory VAT, its marketplace fees, PayPal fees, and the mandatory USD–EUR conversion since it’s impossible to sell in euros… Combined, these fees can amount to over 50% of a beatmaker’s revenue on each sale.

Other platforms, although some are more attractive and offer better features — like Airbit, for example — are not much better for Europeans either. The drop in the dollar exchange rate doesn’t help.

As I explained in detail in my video on the topic, “Why I left Beatstars”, the accumulation of these fees can quickly represent hundreds or even thousands of euros per year for a beatmaker whose Type Beats channel is starting to take off.

In 2025, after realizing how much money I was losing because of Beatstars fees, I decided not to move to another beat-selling platform, but to a more general e-commerce platform: Shopify.
